A taxi can be hailed and runs a meter, so the price depends on traffic. A VTC must be booked in advance and the fare is fixed when you book.
French rules require VTC journeys to be reserved rather than hailed, but we accept immediate bookings by phone subject to a car being free.
Yes. Once your fare is confirmed it does not move. Only a change you request, such as an extra stop, changes it.
